’Armada’ is a sculptural seating collection that was designed for open work and lounge spaces. The blown forms of the armchairs billow out from the seat like wind filled sails, creating a sense of lightness and movement, while providing degrees of privacy and seclusion.

The form language explores the use of surface and volume through a combination of thin upholstered sides with voluminous soft cushions on the inside providing comfort for working on the move. The collection consists of a high and low back armchair and a fully upholstered dining chair on a pedestal.

This small armchair is composed of a compact shell with a conic base, which resembles a mushroom shape. The visual effect is that of a cradle, a compact seat which invites to rest and relax. The structure, in fact, is formed by an oval, which creates a continuum between the backrest and the arms. Coloured and fresh, Armada keeps the unconventional Moroso' style.
