The Ondine Lounge Chair is constructed of a curved metal structure, encased in molded foam, 

and covered in a specialized flexible fabric. The design principles found in this 1980s piece, as 

well as its material components define the Ondine’s strong and distinguishable appearance. 

This was a prototype made by the designer for his beach house and was never mass produced 

until recently.
