MDF Italia is a Milan-based design company manufacturing furniture, which was fully acquired in 2013 by the holding group of the Cassina family, a long-standing leader in Italian design.

Cozy Curve designed by Francesco Rota for MDF Italia is a sofa with supporting structure made of solid wood and plywood, base with elastic straps, feet and hidden hooking system. Differentiated density polyurethane foam padding and polyester wadding cover. The modules are available in different sizes and can also be used individually as pouf elements. The system of modules of Cozy Curve and Cozy Island can be combined with each other with infinite configuration possibilities.

Rota carries the most classic of the MDF Italia padded elements, Cosy sofa, towards a style inspired by soft lines and even warmer. In addition to the existing modules characterised by seats of different depths and lengths and the newest island elements, a new version with a curved base and backrest is added, ideal for creating ideal to create an atmosphere of conviviality thanks to its dialoguing faces.

Cosy Curve becomes the natural centre of gravity around which the fluid spaces of the modern home, or the large open space of the office and hospitality world rotate, the sinuous proportions of the seats and the curved line of the sofa offer a pleasant feeling of cosiness and comfort.

FRAME

Bearing frame made of solid and multilayer wood, base with elastic belts, feet and concealed hook system. Padding: variable-density foam polyurethane padding and cover in polyester wadding.

MODULES

System made up of:

. seating modules for Curve S (L155 D85), M (L205 D85);

. one-sided backrest for curve modules L175.

The Cosy Island and Cosy Curve upholstered module systems can be mutually combined to create numberless configurations conceived to be continuously remodelled as desired.

The seating modules can also be used individually as pouf elements.

ADDITIONAL CUSHIONS

. Square cushion 50x50cm with down filling and lateral strip;

. Rectangular cushion 75x40cm with down filling and lateral strip;

. Lower back cushion 75x25cm with down filling and lateral strip.

COVER

The fabric covering every part of the sofa is manufactured to enhance the softness of the sofa.

The covers are completely removable.

Cozy is a system of upholstered furniture with a soft and rounded line, the Curvy version makes the design fluid and versatile, the protagonist of large contract and hospitality environments. The existing modules characterized by seats of different depths and lengths and the more recent island elements are joined by an unprecedented version characterized by a curved base and back, ideal for creating an atmosphere of conviviality thanks to its dialoguing faces.
