The Red Dot Award winning Bufa Modular Sofa Configuration 3 is a sectional sofa system that takes its name and inspiration from balloons. The designers, Yonoh, had a vision to design a large soft body where one may fully relax and unwind at home. 

And the result? The HC28 Cosmo Bufa is an billowing organic design with large volumes, but at the same time appearing light due to the round and fluid shapes. Bufa means ‘balloon’ in Yonoh designer’s Clara del Portillo and Alex Selma’s mother tongue. 

The HC28 Cosmo Bufa Sofa won the prestigious Red Dot Design Award in 2022. The judges remarked that, “thanks to its voluminous design vocabulary, Bufa can be skilfully showcased in the home environment, contributing to a cosy atmosphere”.

The Bufa Modular Sofa Configuration 3 is made up of two single-armed modules of different lengths, and a corner module to create a complete L shape sofa.
