Designed by Studio Chiaramonte/Marin for Italian brand Emu furniture, the Terramare garden lounge chair has a powder coated aluminium frame, with eco leather armrests and seat back.

Attractive shapes and large dimensions characterise the Terramare sofa collection by Studio Chiaramonte/ Marin, designed to create cosy and personal settings both indoors and out. A complete range of furniture for dining and living areas. The main feature is the die-cast aluminium core, reminiscent of the most basic system that binds stalks of cane to one another, a unique detail. Tables and the elegant armchairs blend in with the essential lines, the style and the design of the sofas to create highly attractive dining areas. Terramare’s material mix is original and innovative: eco-leather back with vintage details, aluminium and stoneware tops, colourful, water-repellent outdoor fabrics.

Product details

The Terramare collection by Studio Chiaramonte-Marin comprises a set of sofas and armchairs crafted in aluminium tubing. The signature feature of the collection is the die-cast aluminium connecting element, reminiscent of the most instinctive system that binds together cane stalks. The arms and backrest are in synthetic leather, with a finish that gives the material an aged look.

The inside of the cushions guarantees top performance thanks to two elements: the memory foam, a polyurethane foam compound that takes on a shape in line with the bodyweight of the user, and polyester flakes to boost volume. The memory foam and the polyester flakes are inserted into and distributed throughout a three-part cushion cover.

The outside of the cushions are covered with a PVC fabric and coated polyester, for a water-repellent effect, and are dip-dyed. The small tables have an extruded aluminium frame and porcelain stoneware tops. The items in the Terramare collection come in four colour variants.
