A reissue of a historic design by Gianfranco Frattini, The Sesann is a collection of sofas and armchairs with enveloping and enticing forms that hold a special allure till today. The elegant design consists of a structural tubular metal frame, which wraps around the soft, voluminous cushions, making it a striking masterpiece that is instantly recognizable and effortlessly commands its space.

Sesann designed by Gianfranco Frattini for Tacchini is a sofa with structure in chromed or vanished finish and upholstery in fabric or leather. Available in two different sizes.

The sofa Sesann was designed by Gianfranco Frattini for Tacchini. Internal frame in cold foam with backrest insert and seat in polyurethane foam. Seat in 18 mm thick poplar plywood and solid fir wood with elastic belts. Painted or chromed metal base. Walnut or gray stained ash feet. Upholstery is not removable.

Sesann has been designed by Gianfranco Frattini in 1970 and now revived by Tacchini. It is characterized by a fabric cover, owes its typical form, soft and enveloping, the cold foam skeleton, contained by an architectural structure in tubular steel (chromed or painted), which is based on ash wood legs. The particular configuration of Sesann makes it functional and at the same time only.

A key component of Tacchini's Design Classics collection, the Sesann lounge was designed by Gianfranco Frattini in the 1970's and has been reissued to complement todays style of living.

Sesann is characterised by an organic and informal shape and is defined by the tubular metal detail that wraps around the soft, upholstered seat. Fabric or leather from Tacchini's house range may be specified for the upholstery, with the tubular metal frame available in a selection of chrome or house powdercoat finishes. The Ash timber feet may be stained to dark walnut or grey.

The Sesann is also available in a single armchair to complement the two sizes of the lounge.

Gianfranco Frattini was born in Padua in 1926 and graduated in architecture at the Milan Polytechnic in 1953, where he remained working there right up to his death. His professional activity was concerned principally with interiors and industrial design. He was an assiduous participant in shows and exhibitions and his design projects won a large number of prizes. In 1956 Frattini was one of the founders of the ADI, Association of Industrial design, for which he carried out a lot of different activities. His presence was habitually felt at congresses, conventions and furniture fairs all over the world.
