The Plyn armchair by Faina by Victoria Yakusha draws its name from the Ukrainian word 

for fluidity. It’s a reflection on the nature of water and liquid life. Coastal stones, as if carved 

and polished by wild waters, make up the shapes of this furniture piece. Primitive and organic 

it harnesses the essence of live design.

Drawing inspiration from water, the PLYN armchair embodies soft power. The design 

piece is made of vast blocks recalling coastal stones which form is naturally softened 

by water. PLYN collection of decor and soft furniture was presented during Summer 

Solstice, the time of natural renewal. Our ancestors believed in the special power the 

water gains this day and celebrated it with praising rites.
