B&B Italia Naoto Fukasawa Papilio Bed

Description

Created by Japanese industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa in 2013, the Papilio bed follows the same design ethos of the rest of Papilio range but on a larger scale.

The Papilio bed recalls the Papilio butterfly as the two wings protects the users head. Papilio is crafted from a tubular steel frame which is covered in comforting polyurethane foam to an inverted truncated cone shape.

The Papilio King Bed features a sleek, clean, design in white fabric upholstery that accentuates its distinctive, curvaceous shape. The high backrest curves around, providing support and an enveloping embrace. Crafted for durability and comfort, this bed merges a singular style with functionality, making it a perfect centerpiece for a contemporary bedroom setting.
