Designed with extensive comfort and a modern expression through the vibrant lines and folds of its back and armrests along with an embracing seat, the Doze Lounge Chair & Ottoman join together the ideas of Scandinavian design with the lines of 1970's furniture for a contemporary perspective on the archetypal lounge chair. Use the Doze Ottoman on its own or with the Doze Lounge Chair. Steel construction with moulded foam filling.

Steel construction with moulded foam filling. Available in various textiles from Kvadrat, Ocean from Rohleder and in Muuto Refine, Easy and Endure leathers.

For textile version, please find cleaning instructions for your chosen textile at Kvadrat.dk or Rohleder.com. Clean powder coated or chrome surfaces with a moist cloth. If necessary, use a dish soap on the cloth.

Anderssen & Voll is a Norwegian design duo, founded by Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll and based in Oslo. The duo have been named both Norwegian and Scandinavian Designers of the Year and have received international awards and recognition for their work with furniture, lighting, and home accessories.

Muuto’s Doze lounge chair is characterised by the juxtaposition of Scandinavian minimalism and the bold expression typical of '70s design. Designed by Anderssen & Voll, the leather-upholstered chair has a distinctively wide backrest – outlined with seams that give the form definition – and slender tube-like legs that accentuate the chair’s robust frame. Doze is perfect for lounge areas in hotels or offices as well as relaxing at home in front of the TV or with a good book.

Anderssen & Voll talk about the design: ”Scandinavia has a long tradition of extensively comfortable lounge chairs; at the heart of our design heritage lies the versatile concept of comfort. As such, the idea of creating a grand lounge chair came very naturally to us. The visual references of the Doze Lounge Chair are however derived from the modern and clear lines of the Golden Age in Danish design, while at the same time being informed by some of our favourite designs of the 1970s. To us, the characteristically large and sheltering back that embraces the soft seat creates a combination of the Scandinavian design ethos and the lines of 1970’s objects in a way that we find truly refreshing.”
