The Shadowy armchair designed by Tord Boontje for Moroso is hand-crafted using woven threads normally used for fishing nets. The designs are all different and original, human in their imperfections and flaws. The Shadowy armchair is perfect for injecting a dose of colour and fun in the garden, patio or terrace.

Designer

Tord Boontje is known for his expression of romanticism in contemporary design. Some of his designs are whimsical and light-hearted; at the same time they can connect with strong emotions. Originally from the Netherlands, Boontje’s education at the Eindhoven Design Academy and the Royal College of Art in London set the foundations for Studio Tord Boontje. Established in 1996, the studio has worked with international companies on a range of products that includes lighting, graphic identity, textiles, ceramics, site-specific installations, and furniture.
