Taking inspiration from the shape of traditional Japanese paper fans, the Uchiwa Quilt Lounge Chair lends striking and expansive appeal.

The Uchiwa armchair is a new illustration of Hay's ability to innovate and invent forms that renew design. Its open and generous shape leaning on wooden uprights is inspired by Japanese hand fans. The hard plastic shell hosts a soft padding that makes it particularly welcoming and comfortable.

the interior is a special limited edition fabric of recycled cotton fibers;
