Product Description

Eva, strong, dynamic, contemporary and ergonomic lines for a seat like a sculpture. The Eva chair arises from the encounter between craftsmanship and technology, where the materials of excellence become special finishes that give rise to unique products. The external part of Eva is in shiny lacquer, available in various colours with the front side covered in a choice of luxury aniline leather. The padding of the seat and back is a compact, rigid polyurethane and cold foamed flexible polyurethane, covered with fibre.

Materials

The products of Giorgetti are drawn from processing techniques tied to cabinet work traditions and the use of state-of-the-art technologies; this allows Giorgetti to make quality products that maintain their own distinctive characteristics. Therefore, any apparent irregularities – such as differences in colour, in the structure, in the size and materials that they are made of – are not to be considered defects, rather peculiarities that make the product unique and special. Rigorous quality controls are made on the entire production line. During their machining the raw materials are subjected to thorough quality and performance tests at every step. The finished product undergoes an accurate performance test and an equally thorough comparison test is made with its original design. Living the Giorgetti space means knowing precious materials, loving innovation and tradition, choosing a unique and personal style, knowing how to present something which tells its own story. Elegance is the summing of ‘pleasure and value’.

Aniline leather – Aniline leather is treated with methods that respect the natural characteristics of the material . A water repellent is used to protect the leather from liquids and dirt. This treatment results in a much softer surface allowing the natural veining to show through and keepthe vibrant colour. Any differences in colour and the possible flaws on the surface are to be considered normal characteristics of this full grain product, that maintains and highlights the original features.

Eva is a wing chair designed by Carlo Colombo for Giorgetti. Armchair with the structure in compact rigid polyurethane. External part shiny lacquered available in seven colours (white, anthracite gray, dove-gray, tobacco, hazel, coloniale, milky) or in saddle leather and internal part in fabric or leather. The padding of the seat and back is in compact rigid polyurethane and coldfoamed flexible polyurethane, covered with fibre. The upholstery in fabric or leather is not removable.

The very name of the collection says it. Eva is a tribute to woman par excellence which, with its sinuous and sensual lines, comes as a wing chair, a stool and a chair. The elements have an external structure lacquered in various colours, or are in saddle

leather or metal with luxurious bronze or titanium finishes, created thanks to refined craftsmanship. The collection is upholstered in fabric or leather.

Armchair and stool with the structure in compact rigid polyurethane. It is available in the following versions:

Meet The Designer – Carlo Colombo

Carlo Colombo is considered one of the most important Italian architects and designers. From the very start, he designed for top-level brands. From that moment, he has been collaborating with hundreds of the most important brands of Italian design and Made in Italy. In addition to designing products and furniture, Colombo also collaborates with companies on marketing strategies, graphic designs and designing exhibits; he also works as a consultant and art director. His design work initially concentrated on interiors, and progressively extended to the building sector, in Italy and abroad. In 2004, he won the title of Designer of the Year; in 2009, he won an international competition for designing the two poly-functional towers in Abu Dhabi and in 2011 taught design at the De Tao Masters Academy in Beijing, China. Among his many recognitions are the Elle Décor International Design Award (2005, 2008, 2010, 2011), the Good Design Award from the European Centre for Architecture Art Design (2009), and The Chicago Athenaeum, the Red Dot Design Award (2012 and 2014), the Interior Innovation Award and the iF design award with Teuco. Today the firm designs on a large scale throughout the world, from interior design to architecture.
