The FK bucket seat is international design history, a beacon of modernity, a pioneer of minimalism. Designed at the end of the 1960s by Preben Fabricius and Jørgen Kastholm, the fine lines and clear contours are as compelling today as they ever were. The armrests seem to be beckoning – inviting us with open arms. The bucket provides ample protection, the leather oozes warmth and comfort. A design icon with soft upholstery. Materiality

FK Chair is a swiveling bucket seat with a synthetic back shell either in matt black, white highly polished or covered entirely in leather.

The base comes either highly polished or matt powder-coated black.

There are two different bases to choose from: a three-star swivel base with synthetic glides for stone floors and carpets or with felt glides for wooden floors, or alternatively a swivel five-star base with castors (to suit the particular hardness of the floor) and height adjustment.

Functionality

The version with a five-star base is also available with a tilt mechanism. This has an angle of inclination of 20°. The lever under the seat can be used to regulate the spring tension.

The overall height and seating height are slightly higher with chairs featuring the lilt mechanism.
