The Calla Armchair's organic shape is reminiscent of the beauty of a plain flower - the Calla.  The thick seat cushion is attached with belts, the sides are pulled down and give the feeling of safe and highly comfortable seating.  The formal tension between the seat cushion and the bow line of the body is a specialty of this design.  The chair is intended to be used as a dining room chair as well as a single chair in other rooms.  The armchair is offered with a closed or an open base frame.  The slightly curved legs at the open base frame are made of polished aluminum or solid American walnut.  Additionally, versions with exposed legs can be special ordered with clear lacquered legs or colored lacquered legs.  The covering is available in white upholstery, leather I or leather II Elmosoft.  

A special flair was given in the restaurant and the bar area on Mauritius by setting up the Calla armchair. The organic form of the Calla underlines the soft silhouettes of the counter and the lamps and so perfectly meets the customer’s demand for an ambience that radiates ease and exotic. The white-on-white color scheme creates a relaxed atmosphere and invites to linger.  The armchair convinces with the fully upholstered belted seat squab and its pulled down sides and offers a secure and highly comfortable seating.
