Flexform Cestone Corner Sofa was designed to be placed at the center of the living room. In the spotlight are the sofa’s back and sides, parts that cannot usually be counted on to bring added value. Instead, the back and sides of the Cestone sofa are made up of a metal structure upholstered with woven strips of cowhide. The cowhide strips are closely woven, forming a compact surface. The resulting ‘checkerboard’ pattern makes a strong visual statement in aesthetically pleasing contrast to the soft, perfectly-proportioned upholstered parts.
