Catch chair by &Tradition literally catches you to sit on its lap! The shape of the lounge chair is beautifully organic and fun at the same time. Catch lounge chair works equally well in the living room, office use and in public lounge areas. It is upholstered in a wool blend fabric and the legs are made of steel tube. The exceptionally inviting lounge chair was designed by the Spanish Jaime Hayón.

atch illustrates Jaime Hayon's taste for humor and personification: the armchair holds out his arms like a friend ready to embrace you. It has a high back and an elongated seat, supported by a steel structure, available in 2 versions. The chair is slightly tilted backwards, allowing you to sit back and relax.

"The more we work with Hayon, the more we appreciate his ability to bring humanity and warmth to all his concepts," says Martin Kornbek Hansen, &tradition Brand Director. "Historically, the classic lounge chairs had a somewhat distant side, but Hayon managed to make the Catch Lounge more personal, fostering a more intimate atmosphere and facilitating conversation, which corresponds to our Danish idea of cosy. We call it hyggeligt."

As Hayon sees it, “A lounge chair should be inviting to look at. In a way, it should be almost irresistible. Meaning you can’t help but sit back, get comfortable and have a chat. That’s what I wanted to achieve. With the added element of the two arms, like a friend, happy to welcome you.”

Material molded PU foam core covered in soft CMHR foam for superior comfort. Steel base. Fabric or leather upholstery.

when jaime hayon started working on catch, he drew a man with open arms, like a chair that wants to catch you - and the chair works like that. &tradition’s collaboration with jaime hayon dates to when the company was founded in 2010, and catch was the first product to come out of the exchange between hayon and &tradition in 2013.
