Designed by Patricia Urquiola, Dudet has a soft, enveloping shape that offers contemporary comfort with a well-developed sense of

environmental awareness. This small armchair, which strongly references 1970s design, is engineered to be completely disassembled for ease of disposal and recycling of the organic and premium materials, starting with the metal core. The padding in the legs and seat is in polyurethane foam with a percentage of polyols derived from organic sources, which contributes to making this piece of furniture an example of sustainable, environmentally aware design, as well as a masterpiece of comfort.

The covers on these chairs are a coral colored velvet blend with natural elasticity that adheres evenly to the curved surface of this sculptural chair. Due to the high percentage of wool in this fabric, it is both stain resistant and has a velvet touch. Covers are finished with a gray zipper.

Designer Patricia Urquiola studied architecture and design at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and completed her studies at the Politecnico di Milano where she graduated under the mentorship of Achille Castiglioni. In Spain, she was awarded the Golden Medal for Merits in Art and received the Cross of the Order of Isabella the Catholic. September 2015 Patricia Urquiola nominated Art Director of Cassina.
