Beetle by GamFratesi for brand Gubi is a collection of chairs to huge success. The Beetle Lounge Chair is laminated veneer molded seat and back in 2 separate parts. The 2 parts are joined together with a steel fitting worked in two shells. The shells are 10 mm thick. The chair is always completely covered in fabric with leather trim. The base is made of stainless steel with conical legs available in powder coated black, or brass.

The bestselling Beetle family gets a new relative in the Beetle Lounge, which is introduced alongside a new base finish for the entire Beetle collection: polished brass. The Danish-Italian design duo GamFratesi found the general anatomy of insects to be gentle and charming. The design of the chairs reinterprets the characteristic elements of the beetles’ sections: shape, shells, sutures, rigid outside and soft inside, while maintaining comfort and functionality.
